Lights, Camera…No Action - We need a meter!
We were recently approached by a film studio for a new gas supply contract for one of their latest acquisitions in London. What should have been a straightforward ‘Action!’ quickly turned out to be something much more complex - the stunt people would be required - queue Sorola’s Katie Gill!
The London-based site was registered on the National Database to a supply in Yorkshire…plot twist! In actual fact, this is not uncommon in the world of energy!
The plot thickened as Katie uncovered the fact that the supply was showing as being decommissioned, without a supplier however the gas was still flowing. An on-site check was organised and it quickly became apparent that a full meter exchange was unavoidable.
Not all energy suppliers offer new meter installations so Katie made sure that the client was given a comprehensive list of options along with the associated tariffs to compare. Once the client had decided who they wanted to contract with, Katie coordinated the meter exchange but like any good movie, there are always several characters - she just didn’t expect these to be of the feathered variety! Add the action scene of a collapsed roof and you’ve got yourself a blockbuster!
We eventually got to the happy ending and were delighted to receive the client's enthusiastic message about the gas meter.
“Hope you are well and had a great New Year.
Our new Gas meter is looking lovely, thank you so much for arranging for this to be updated.”
